Follow Friday [#2]

Follow Fridays is hosted by ParaJunkee and Alison Can Read

Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

Wow that's actually a really hard question. I'm going to say Harry Potter.

SPOILERS.

I liked the final battle between Voldemort and Harry but I hated how everything ended, the epilogue. So I've never liked Ginny in the books. She always annoyed me so I was upset when Harry married her. And those names? Come on Harry! Those kids are going to hate you forever! I would have Harry remain alone. Sounds cliche but it feels right to me. I'd also have him teach Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts because I mean come on. He'd be absolutely perfect for the gig!

  1. Hopping through. I don't like or hate Ginny. I think she's as good for Harry as anyone else. But I wish Harry Potter had gone on longer.

  11. I wasn't a big fan of Ginny either, but the rest of the storyline made up for that. :) I loved the HP series! I'm a new follower. Have a great weekend!

  14. Totally agree! That ending was hokey. I didn't want to see them old. And I never really felt anything for Jenny, either. I tell you I'd like to change the ending of the Wolves of Mercy Falls series. I was so disappointed in Forever. Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I'm following you now, too :)

p.s. - My cousin lives in Chicago and I love to visit. Chicago is a beautiful city!

  17. I wonder if there is anyone who liked Ginny. She just came out of nowhere as Harry's love interest and I just didn't buy it. Even less in the movies.

  18. Tell me about it Karen! I just wanted to throw Book 6 to the wall because I was soo over Harry being all jealous and whiny about how Ginny has all of these boyfriends. I just love how in the movies she NEVER talks. I think it was the Order of the Phoenix movie where she was pretty much just stalking the trio. She would walk a few paces behind them in a whole bunch of scenes but never say anything! Ugh, thanks for following! :)
