Guest Post: Chloe Neill

Good evening mes amis, I have terrific news! We have a special guest to grace Du Livre today, none other than CHLOE NEILL.

Chloe Neill was born and raised in the South, but now makes her home in the Midwest–just close enough to Cadogan House and St. Sophia’s to keep an eye on things. When not transcribing Merit’s and Lily’s adventures, she bakes, works, and scours the Internet for good recipes and great graphic design. Chloe also maintains her sanity by spending time with her boys–her favorite landscape photographer/husband and their dogs, Baxter and Scout. (Both she and the photographer understand the dogs are in charge.)  Chloe is represented by Lucienne Diver of The Knight Agency. Chloe is a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (Author Site).
If you didn't know, Ms Neill writes the fabulous Chicagoland Vampires series which is....well FABULOUS. I'm so happy that she could take time to lend us Mallory! Without further ado, enjoy Du Livre's interview with Mallory!
DL: If you weren’t a witch, which paranormal creature would you want to be?

Mallory: Is "not a witch" an option? Definitely not a vamp. Maybe a shifter. Those guys seem to have it together.

DL: If you were in charge of Catcher’s warddrobe, what would you make him wear?

Mallory: Anything but T-shirts, since those are ubiquitous around the house. Or nothing at all. Cause . . . you know.
*cough*

DL: Describe Ethan in 5 words.

Mallory: Pretentious vampire with fine ass.

DL: Best part about living in Chicago?

Mallory: Hands down, the food. From deep dish to taquerias to homemade custard, you just can't beat it.

DL: What’s the best thing about being a witch?

Mallory: Knowing that I can control the universe at a whim. And the swag. I have a ton of U-ASS bumper stickers.

DL: If Merit were a food, what would she be?

Mallory: A steamed pork bun--dull on the outside; saucy on the inside.

DL: If you could turn anyone into a toad, who would it be?

Mallory: Catcher, when he uses my toothbrush. Seriously, that is nasty.

DL: Chinese take out or Maxwell street polish?

Mallory: Oh, my god, polish! Those things are crazy good.

DL: After Catcher, who is next on the “yummy” list?

Mallory: I defer answering that because he might pop me with an orb of magic. I have no desire to be popped with an orb of magic. Today.

DL Got a Halloween costume for this year?

Mallory: I'm going as an ad executive. Get it?! Get it!?

DL: Thanks!

CN: Thanks for having me! It was a treat.

And if you didn't know, I hope that interview showed you all how awesome Chloe is! The latest Chicagoland Vampire book was released earlier this month and you can buy it from any bookstore (Black Friday is coming up, HINT HINT).
