Waiting on Wednesday [#11]

Faking Faith by JOSIE BLOSS

After a humiliating "sexting" incident involving a hot and popular senior, seventeen-year-old Dylan has become a social outcast—harassed, ignored, and estranged from her two best friends.
When Dylan discovers the blogs of homeschooled fundamentalist Christian girls, she's fascinated by their old-fashioned conversation themes, like practicing submission to one's future husband. Blogging as Faith, her devout alter ego, Dylan befriends Abigail, the group's queen bee. But growing closer to Abigail (and her intriguing older brother) forces Dylan to choose: keep living a lie or come clean and face the consequences  (goodreads).

Why I Want This Book:

I definitely love all things teen drama, but this one is a bit different from what I usually read and I like that.
The plot sounds so intriguing I can't help but want it! :)

  1. I read a book over the summer almost exactly like it! I LOVED it! It addressed the sexting issues among teens today, and the consequences of what happens when you choose to go down that path! I thought it had an incredible message! So glad another author is brining this msg to teens!

  2. It's interesting to see how things and issues are evolving, too. Just a few years ago, sexting didn't exist! Good choice, and I'm sure it has a good message :)
