Spring Book Blast (#SBBlast)

Hi loves, I hope you're all staying healthy during the COVID-19 outbreak. While it's important that we all take the necessary precautions to limit the spread of the virus, it sucks that artists and authors are losing out on exposure by canceling book tours, book festivals, and other promotional appearances.

We bloggers are champions of authors and this is the best way to show support for authors who want to spread the work of their latest (or first!) novel. Of course there are other ways to support authors (buy their books), but I thought it'd be fun to create a campaign to get authors as much exposure as possible.

From March 22 - May 2, I encourage everyone to feature authors/books who had their events canceled for the safety of others. Book promotions can be reviews, X reasons why we should read the book, author interviews, fan art, bookstagram photos, giveaways, and/or aesthetics/pinterest boards. These are just some ideas, you're not limited to this list at all.

I started a google document that list all of the events that have been canceled for safety and the authors that have been impacted.

Take a look at the list and decide who you'd like to promote, this can be a one time post or a series, whatever you're comfortable with! I do encourage you to check out authors that are debuts or have midlist titles coming out since we know publishers don't provide authors the same publicity.

Let's share our love for authors! Include your post(s) in the linky below so that interested readers can view your post and share your posts on social media using the hashtag #SBBlast. You can also use the header for your own posts and social media!

I look forward to reading everyone's posts, chatting on social media, and promoting these wonderful authors!
