C2E2: Bigger than Ever Before

Back in 2010, Matt and I attended the first Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2). A lot has changed over the past 9 years, but I still have a good time. This year I listened to sci-fi and fantasy authors talk about how they approach magic in their books, and heard some of my favorite childhood voice actors showcase their talents.

New and Familiar Faces: March at a Glance

Hey there friends! March is over with, does that mean we're closer to Spring finally? Probably not, it's April and there is snow on the ground. Typical.

C2E2 2015 Recap

Hello folks! It shouldn't come to anyone's surprise but I'm a nerd. I play video games and I read comics along with reading a plethora of books. Although, I've never gotten in super hero comics  I've preferred more indie titles like Sandman, Revival, Hack/Slash and Fables, but that's a whole different story. Like attracts like, so of course my husband is a fellow nerd as well. We've been going to C2E2 (Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo) since its inception five years ago and it's always been a blast.

Thanks Greenwillow  Books and HarperTeen!

I'M SO TIRED! Yesterday I went to C2E2 for a day (the husband and I learned that we can't keep up with the young nerds anymore) and I am still feeling the affects! It was a great con this year and it's ridiculous how big it's grown over the past five years, I have a recap post schedule for tomorrow so if you're into posts like that, please keep a look out!

Husband made the financial decision that we pay entirely too much for cable and internet (looking at you Comcast) and so we're looking at other options for internet. The time being, I have no internet. Womp womp. Luckily, it's 2015 and the internet is all around us (but I'm also lazy).

I can't wait to show you all pictures from C2E2 guys! I've got to work on my photography skills (clearly), so hopefully I'll be somewhat decent when BEA 2015 (holla Chicago rolls around!
