Top Ten Tuesday [#4]

Hosted by the Broke and Bookish

Top Ten Books On Your Fall TBR List
(in no particular order)

1) the Lost Prince (The Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten #1)
I haven't even read book three of the Iron Fey series, but ETHAN CHASE OMG! I'm just so happy that I got approved for this title on NetGalley. I guess that means I have to pick up books 3 and 4, huh?

2) Even and Adam
I love dystopian novels. Do I need more of a reason to add this one to my TBR list?

3)  Days of Blood and Starlight
SWEET BABY JESUS. I WILL BE FIRST IN LINE WHEN THIS COMES OUT.

4) Undeadly (The Reaper Diaries #1)
I have literally been waiting for this book for over a year. Seriously. I added this to my TBR list August 25, 2012. o.O

5) Mystic City
Everyone is talking about this book and I'm jealous and I want it!

6) Breathe
Not too sure what's going on with this plot but it's dystopian so I'll take it!

7)  Crewel
Isn't the cover just so pretty and vibrant! Can't wait to read this one either!

Annd I'm out of books for the Fall! Haha, it's going to be a great season for books that's for sure. Link me to your Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday [#3]

Top Ten Books I'd Like to See Made into Movies

1) The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa: The world is so beautiful and all of the characters are memorable, I think this would look amazing on the big screen!

2) The Restorer (The Graveyard Queen Series) by Amanda Stevens: I was reading the sequel last night and I couldn't help but imagine how this would look with special effects and a A list cast. The mood to this book is so wonderfully mysterious and creepy I think that a director would have fun with.

3) Entwined by Heather Dixon: The entire time I was reading this I was thinking how awesome this would be as an animated movie! The humor is charming, the characters are adorable and lovable. It would be the perfect summer blockbuster for kid's movies!

4) Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver: This book made me feel so many things! It's such a good story with a great narrative, I think it would be a hit with young movie goers. Parents too!

5) Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman: This is by favorite Neil Gaiman book and I would love to see this as a movie. Not a television series, a movie. No reason necessary, It's Neil motherloving Gaiman.

6) A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux: This is one of my favorite romance books ever. Although this plot has already been done (Kate and Leopold), I think the love story will leave the other "copy-cats" in the dust!

7) The Dark Hunters series by Sherrilyn Kenyon: This might be cheating because I don't want a movie, I want a TV series. I would prefer a TV series because THERE ARE SO MANY BOOKS AND I CAN'T JUST CHOSE ONE and also because the sex. This would be a FABULOUS HBO series!

8) Angelfall by Susan Ee: BADASSERY. That is all. I just want to cry in the theatres I think.

9)  Remembrance by Jude Deveraux: I would prefer this to be a like a two or three part TV series. Regardless I want to see this! I want to cry millions of tears and yell at my boyfriend about why we aren't soulmates like Talis Callie.

10) The White Cat (Curseworkers series) by Holly Black: I just recently finished the first book and I think this would make for an awesome action movie! I really do think this would bring in the crowds!

And you guys?

Top Ten Tuesday (#2)

Top Ten Books I Wish I Could Reread Again for the First Time

1) Harry Potter. The entire series. I remember when I was young just being so connected with JK Rowling's world and all of the amazing (and shocking) plot twists. It completely blew my mind and I was so in love, I want to relive that feeling.
2) Seize the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon. That book broke my heart so many times it was ridiculous, but the payoff was damn worth it. I keep rereading but nothing beats the  first time.
3) Remembrance by Jude Dexeraux. First book I read by her, I was on a Deveraux kick for quite some time after reading it. The love story was just so innocent and charming.
4) American Gods by Neil Gaiman. While the story, I felt, dragged at some parts, the overall plot was AMAZING. So much research on Gaiman's half with a shocking twist at the end. I love it to pieces.
5) Delirium by Lauren Oliver. The first time I read this I was completely immersed; I loved all of the characters and the love story was too precious to even try to hate. I loved being in Lena's head wondering what is going to happen next.
6) Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon. This was THE book. I think I devoured all 700-something pages in two days because I just had to know about our mysterious Dark Hunter and when I DID find out...man I cried.
7) The Sandman Series by Neil Gaiman. Kind of cheating because I have one more volume to go through before I can mark it as "read" but this series is just so intense I feel that I have to! The characters are so complex and the plot is so original. I'll never forget the arcs where Lucifer decided to leave Hell and the Dollhouse arc.

I can't think of three more! ):

Top Ten Tuesdays [#1]

Because I REALLY don't want to work on this paper....

Books I Feel As Though Everyone Has Read But Me

1) Jane Eyre. We read the OTHER sisters in High school. ): I even bought this book, but I think I left it on the plane when I went to France.
2) The Hunger Games. I need to. There has been such a big fuss about it and it sounds like fun. Battle Royale in book form.
3) Lolita. Who doesn't love controversy?
4) Matched. I'm just now getting into dystopian settings so this sounds like a must.
5)Forbidden. I want incest!!
6) Lord of the Flies. Boyfriend keeps making references and I'm just sitting there with a blank stare.
7) The Golden Compass. I saw the movie but apparently I shouldn't have.
8) Lord of the Rings. Don't really plan to either but people throw such a fit when they hear that I haven't watched the movie or read the books.
9)Interview with a Vampire. I started reading in France...but then I left and the book stayed there. I could have so easily taken it with me!
10) My Sister's Keeper. I remember when that was all people talked about. Still haven't read it.
